Thermal insulation composite systems

The task of thermal insulation composite systems (full heat insulation) is to reduce the flow of heat between indoors and outdoors.
Correct thermal protection:

  • Saves on energy costs
  • Avoids structural damage (e.g. mould caused by the formation of condensate)
  • Avoids damage to pipes caused by the cold
  • Avoids excessive stresses in the load-bearing and space-enclosing elements
  • Avoids the action of condensation within the walls
  • Increases comfort (through higher temperature of the enclosing walls and hence lower radiant heat losses)

Where technically feasible and in accordance with the customer’s wishes, such projects primarily involve the use of polystyrene insulating materials as well as mineral wool and cork.
